The Magic intend to sign guard/forward Ignas Brazdeikis to a two-way contract, according to Josh Robbins of The Athletic.
Brazdeikis, 22, is 6-foot-6 and appeared in just 13 games overall last season, dividing his time between the Knicks, 76ers and Magic.
But he finished the season in Orlando and played relatively well in his eight appearances, compiling averages of 11.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists, while shooting 41 percent on 3-pointers.
He will join a Magic wing rotation that includes the likes of rookies Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner, as well as R.J. Hampton, Gary Harris and Terrence Ross.
Given that Brazdeikis was signed to a two-way deal, he is likely to spend plenty of time with the franchise’s G League affiliate in Lakeland.
He can appear in no more than 50 games with the Magic, who still have an available two-way slot.
