The Magic have waived guard PJ Dozier, who was acquired in a trade with the Celtics ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline.
Along with Dozier, the Magic landed Bol Bol as part of the trade. Orlando also waived guards Michael Carter-Williams and E’Twaun Moore.
Dozier was on an expiring contract and after tearing his ACL while with the Nuggets, was set to miss the rest of the regular season. He very well could miss much of the next, too.
He appeared in 18 games with the Nuggets, averaging 5.4 points, before suffering the knee injury.
