The Mavericks have signed forward Taze Moore, the team announced in a press release.
Moore, 25, is 6-foot-5 and went undrafted out of the University of Houston in 2022. He then joined the Texas Legends of the G League, where he averaged 13.9 points and 6.7 rebounds in 24 games.
He also played for the Mavs in Summer League this past July, averaging 7.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in five appearances.
Dallas waived three players over the weekend, as we relayed here, and Moore brings their preseason roster to 19. Should Moore also be waived, he will likely head back to the Legends and become eligible for a $75,000 bonus if he remains with the G League club for 60 days.
