The Mavericks, Lakers, Knicks and Hornets are among the teams interested in Pacers center Myles Turner, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Turner, 25, is 6-foot-11 and remains available in trade talks, Charania noted. He is 13.1 points and 7.3 rebounds in 39 games (through Sunday).
Along with Turner, Pacers guard/forward Caris LeVert also continues to be the subject of trade talks, as we relayed earlier.
As for Turner specifically, there has been no shortage of interest over the past several seasons, and he has long been linked to LA and Charlotte.
Of course, having interest and actually being able to be offer trade pieces are two different things, and it’s hard to know just yet what Indiana is seeking in return for some of its core players.
Either way, the Pacers are reportedly ready to undergo a rebuild of sorts, which is presumably why Turner and LeVert are being shopped.
“Rival executives tell The Athletic that Indiana values Domantas Sabonis very highly and seems less likely to move him,” wrote Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors.
