The Suns and small forward Mikal Bridges have agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $90 million, agents Sam Goldfeder and Jordan Gertler told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Bridges, 25, is 6-foot-6 and played a underrated role during the Suns’ run to the NBA Finals, averaging career-highs of 13.5 points and 4.3 rebounds during the regular season.
“Wherever he has gone, he has won,” Goldfeder told Wojnarowski. “It’s no accident. He is the player who buys into a culture as well as sets a culture.”
Rookie contract extensions for members of the 2018 draft class must be completed by 6 p.m. EST on Monday.
“Mikal has worked tirelessly to bring winning basketball back to the Phoenix Suns,” Gertler told Wojnarowski. “This is the culmination of his hard work.”
