Your Cleveland Cavaliers are back in action. And if not actual action, at least training camp down in Florida. So, what’s new and what should we expect?

As always, I break it all down and probably talk way too much on the latest edition of Hoops Wire Live from 330 to Go. For the record, this is the first episode of Season 3, so there is still a long, long way to go. Check it out here on YouTube or directly below.

As I said on the show, I again have high hopes for the Cavaliers. On paper, I think they added some needed toughness and physicality. That said, I doubt they start 15-0 again this year. And hey, that’s OK.

And yes, I read and hear all your comments about nothing being meaningful until the playoffs. I agree with that — to a point. Plenty actually matters until then.

The Pacers showed that last season. They played their best basketball after the All-Star break and were practically unstoppable after January, en route to the Finals. Regular-season momentum counts for a lot.

This year, the Cavs’ goal will be the same. I think it’s plenty doable.

Anyway, for more of my thoughts and observations, check out the show above.
