NBA Free Agency: Signings, Latest Moves, Rumors, Reports

Guard Spencer Dinwiddie has agreed to a one-year deal with the Mavericks. Dinwiddie, 31, played a key role as sixth man on the Mavs’ 2022 Western Conference finals team.

Cavaliers forward Evan Mobley agreed to a five-year, $224 million maximum rookie contract extension that could become worth as much as $269 million.

The Grizzlies have traded forward Ziaire Williams, a 2021 Top 10 draft pick, to the Nets. Williams goes to the Nets with a 2030 second-round pick via the Mavericks for Mamadi Diakite and the draft rights to Nemanja Dangubic, the 54th pick in the 2014 draft.

The Clippers are sending guard Russell Westbrook, a second-round pick swap and cash to the Jazz in a sign-and-trade agreement for guard Kris Dunn. Westbrook is joining the Nuggets after being waived by the Jazz. 

Center/forward Sandro Mamukelashvili has agreed on a one-year, $2.2 million deal to return to the Spurs.

The Bucks and free agent Gary Trent Jr. have agreed to a one-year deal. The Bucks announced the signing.

Free agent guard Patrick Beverley is signing with Hapoel Tel Aviv BC of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He began his career in Europe, playing in Greece and Russia before spending the past 12 years in the NBA.

Free agent guard Seth Curry has agreed on a one-year deal to return to the Hornets. Curry averaged nine points in eight games for Charlotte after arriving in a trade deadline deal with the Mavericks.

The Knicks and guard Cameron Payne agreed to a one-year deal for the veteran minimum. Payne, who turns 30 in August, split the 2023-24 season between the Bucks and 76ers.

Free agent center Taj Gibson has agreed on a one-year, $3.3 million deal with the Hornets. Gibson, 39, is expected to help mentor a young roster.

Forward KJ Martin has agreed on a two-year, $16 million deal to return to the 76ers.

The Knicks and point guard Jalen Brunson agreed to a four-year, $156.6 million deal. By extending this year instead of next, Brunson helps give the Knicks roster flexibility and keep the current roster together.

Forward Johnny Juzang has agreed on a four-year, $12 million deal to return to the Jazz. Juzang, 23, played on consecutive two-way contracts with the Jazz after going undrafted out of UCLA.

Veteran guard Kyle Lowry agreed on a one-year deal to return to the 76ers. Lowry averaged 8.0 points and was 40% on 3-pointers in 23 games (20 starts) with the Sixers last season after a trade with the Heat in February.

The Hawks and guard Vit Krejci reached a four-year, $10 million agreement. Krejci averaged 6.4 points and 2.4 rebounds for the Hawks last season.

The Pistons have claimed center Paul Reed on waivers, the team announced. Reed, who averaged 7.3 points per game in 82 games last season, was waived by the 76ers.

Pistons guard Cade Cunningham has agreed on a five-year, $224 million maximum rookie extension that could become worth as much as $269 million. Cunningham was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft and averaged 22.7 points and 7.5 assists last season.

Nets forward Trendon Watford has signed his qualifying offer, which will allow him to become an unrestricted free agent next summer.

Forward Haywood Highsmith has agreed on a two-year, $11 million deal to return to the Heat. Highsmith, 27, averaged a career-best 20.7 minutes and started 26 games on his way to averaging 6.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and shooting nearly 40 percent on 3-pointers last season.

Center Daniel Theis has agreed on a one-year deal with the Pelicans. Theis, who’s entering his eighth NBA season, averaged 6.3 points and 4.1 rebounds in 60 games with the Pacers and Clippers last season.

The Kings have agreed on a sign-and-trade that will land wing DeMar DeRozan on a three-year, $74 million contract. The deal will also send Harrison Barnes to the Spurs and Chris Duarte, two second-round picks and cash to the Bulls.

Forward Dario Saric has agreed on a two-year, $10.6 million deal — including a player option — with the Nuggets.

Forward Simone Fontecchio has agreed on a two-year, $16 million contract to return to the Pistons.

Forward Miles Bridges agreed to a three-year, $75 million deal to return to the Hornets.

The Spurs are trading guard Devonte’ Graham and a second-round pick to the Hornets. The Hornets will waive Graham, allowing him to become a free agent.

Forward Caleb Martin has agreed to a four-year deal with the 76ers worth more than $32 million.

Shooting guard Malik Beasley is signing a one-year deal with the Pistons worth more than $6 million.

Magic forward Franz Wagner has agreed to a five-year, $224M maximum rookie contract extension. The deal could be worth as much as $269M.

Shooting guard Buddy Hield is joining the Warriors on a sign-and-trade deal guaranteed for two years and $21 million. Hield reportedly gets $18M in the first two years, and a $3 million partial guarantee in the third year, plus a player option on a non-guaranteed fourth year. The Warriors will send the 76ers a 2031 second-round pick via the Mavericks.

The Timberwolves have agreed to a one-year deal with free agent forward PJ Dozier.

Wing Alec Burks has agreed on a one-year deal with the Heat. Burks averaged 10.4 points per game with the Pistons and Knicks last season.

Forward Joe Ingles has agreed on a one-year deal to join the Timberwolves. Ingles reunites with former Jazz teammates Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley in Minnesota.

Guard Damion Lee is returning to the Suns on a one-year deal. Lee missed all of the 2023-24 season right knee injury.

Star forward LeBron James has agreed to sign a two-year, $104M maximum contract to return to the Lakers. The deal includes a player option and a no-trade clause.

Forward Kyle Anderson is signing a three-year, $27 million contract with the Warriors. The deal will be complete with a sign-and-trade with the Timberwolves. Golden State is trading a future second-round pick swap and cash in the deal.

The Magic and forward Jonathan Isaac have agreed to a five-year, $84 million contract.

Forward/center Xavier Tillman and the Celtics agreed to a two-year deal.

Center Moritz Wagner is returning to the Magic on a two-year, $22 million deal.

Center James Wiseman has agreed to a two-year contract with the Pacers. The No. 2 overall pick in 2020, Wiseman played a career-high 63 games with the Pistons last season.

Guard Donovan Mitchell has agreed to a three-year, $150.3 million maximum contract extension with the Cavaliers. The deal includes a player option for the 2027-28 season.

Center Mo Bamba has agreed to a one-year deal with the Clippers. Bamba spent the last season with the 76ers, averaging 4.4 points, 1.1. blocks and 4.2 rebounds.

Shooting guard Gary Harris has agreed to a two-year, $14 million contract to stay with the Magic.

The sign-and-trade involving shooting guard Klay Thompson has been confirmed. The Mavericks are sending two second-round picks to the Warriors.

Center Goga Bitadze is returning to the Magic on a three-year, $25 million contract.

Guard De’Anthony Melton agreed to a one-year, $12.8 million deal with the Warriors.

Forward/guard Nicolas Batum has agreed on a two-year, $9.6 million contract to return to the Clippers.

Guard Derrick White has agreed on a four-year, $125.9 million contract extension to return to the Celtics. The deal includes a player option.

Guard Delon Wright has agreed on a one-year, $3.3 million deal with the Bucks.

The Timberwolves have re-signed free agent center Luka Garza to a two-year deal.

Center Drew Eubanks has agreed to a two-year, $10M deal with the Jazz.

Forward Justin Minaya is returning to the Trail Blazers on a two-way contract.

Forward Tobias Harris will sign a two-year, $52M deal with the Pistons.

Center Isaiah Hartenstein has agreed to sign a three-year, $87M deal with the Thunder. Hartenstein, 26, averaged 7.8 points and 8.3 rebounds with the Knicks last season.

Center Jalen Smith has agreed to a three-year, $27M contract with the Bulls. Smith averaged 9.9 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 42% from 3 with the Pacers last season.

The Thunder have agreed to long-term extensions with key reserves Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins. Joe will sign a four-year, $48 million deal, while Wiggins will sign for five years, $47 million.

The 76ers and guard Tyrese Maxey have agreed to a five-year, $204 million maximum contract extension. Maxey, 23, made his first All-Star Game in 2024 and averaged 25.9 points, 6.2 assists and 3.7 rebounds last season.

Forward Paul George has agreed to sign a four-year, $212 million maximum contract with the 76ers. The deal includes a player option for the 2027-28 NBA season.

Guard/forward Kelly Oubre Jr. has agreed on a two-year, $16.3 million deal to stay with the 76ers. The deal includes a player option for the 2025-26 NBA season. In his first season with the Sixers, Oubre averaged 15.4 points and led the team with 1.8 steals per game.

Forward Derrick Jones Jr. and the Clippers have agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal. Jones was a key player for the Mavericks in their run to the NBA Finals.

Forward Naji Marshall has agreed on a three-year, $27 million deal with the Mavericks. Until now, Marshall has spent his career with the Pelicans, originally signing a two-way deal in 2020 after going undrafted.

Center Mason Plumlee has agreed on a one-year deal with the Suns. Plumlee, 34, averaged 5.3 points and 5.1 rebounds for the Clippers last season.

Center Jonas Valanciunas has agreed to a three-year, $30 million contract with the Wizards. Valanciunas, 32, spent last season with the Pelicans.

Center/forward Bol Bol intends to return to the Suns on a one-year deal. He averaged 5.2 points and 3.2 rebounds last season, his first with Phoenix.
