The Kings will open the 2025-26 regular season on the road against the Suns on Oct. 22, according to a report from KCRA’s Sean Cunningham.

Two nights later, Sacramento plays its home opener at Golden 1 Center against the Jazz, followed by a visit from the Lakers on Oct. 26.

Former coach Mike Brown will return to Sacramento on Jan. 14, when the Kings host his new team, the Knicks. Brown spent nearly three seasons with the Kings before being fired last December after a 13-18 start.

He guided Sacramento to the playoffs in 2023, ending the franchise’s 16-year postseason drought and helping spark the “Beam Team” era.

Doug Christie will enter his first full season as head coach, with the Kings looking to bounce back after consecutive play-in tournament exits. The journey begins with an October trip to Phoenix.
