Hawks
Nickeil Alexander-Walker scored 24 points and Jalen Johnson added 23 points, 11 rebounds and six assists as Atlanta pulled away from the Warriors for a 124-111 road win Sunday night.
The Hawks won their third straight behind strong bench play and a decisive finish to the first half. Luke Kennard delivered a season-high 22 points and knocked down six three-pointers off the bench.
Alexander-Walker scored eight straight points over the final 1:14 before halftime, including back-to-back threes in the closing minute. Atlanta took a 59-53 lead into the break after CJ McCollum buried a jumper at the buzzer.
McCollum, acquired in the trade that sent Trae Young to Washington, finished with 12 points.
Raptors
Scottie Barnes broke a tie with a free throw with 0.8 seconds left in overtime, lifting Toronto to a 116-115 home win over the 76ers in the opener of a back-to-back set between short-handed clubs.
Barnes made the first free throw and intentionally missed the second, finishing 10-of-12 at the line. He scored 31 points after returning from a one-game absence caused by a sore right knee.
Jamal Shead poured in a career-high 22 points, Immanuel Quickley added 20 and Collin Murray-Boyles posted 17 points and 15 rebounds as the Raptors won their third straight at home.
Toronto remained without RJ Barrett, sidelined by a sprained left ankle. Brandon Ingram missed his second straight game with a right thumb injury, while Jakob Poeltl sat out his 10th consecutive game because of a lower back issue. There is no timetable for Poeltl’s return.
Kings
DeMar DeRozan scored 22 points and became the 23rd player in NBA history to reach 26,000 career points as the Kings beat the visiting Rockets, 111-98.
DeRozan reached the milestone in the second quarter. Zach LaVine chipped in 18 points, while Russell Westbrook delivered 15 points, 10 assists and six rebounds. Malik Monk also scored 15.
The win was the first of 2026 for the Kings, now 9-30 overall.
Sacramento played without Dennis Schroder, who began serving a three-game suspension stemming from a confrontation with Luka Doncic following a game in Los Angeles on Dec. 28.
