Nuggets
The Nuggets appear to have avoided a major scare involving Jamal Murray.
Murray’s left ankle sprain is not considered serious and the star guard is expected to be listed as questionable for Monday’s matchup with the Thunder, according to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.
Murray suffered the injury during the second quarter of Friday’s loss to the Knicks and did not return.
Meanwhile, Aaron Gordon is simply happy to be back. Gordon returned Friday after missing 17 straight games with a right hamstring strain.
“I feel great,” Gordon said, via Bennett Durando of The Denver Post. “My body feels good. It’s just the timing and pace of the game that needs to come back.”
Bucks
The Bucks will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo on Sunday.
Antetokounmpo is sitting out the second night of a back-to-back due to right calf injury management when Milwaukee faces the Magic.
Kyle Kuzma is listed as questionable with a thoracic spine contusion.
Pistons
The Pistons may get Cade Cunningham back, like, now.
Cunningham, who missed Saturday’s loss to the Nets with a left quad contusion, has been upgraded to probable for Sunday’s game against the Heat.
Caris LeVert will miss the game with a left wrist sprain.
