Alperen Sengun did what stars are supposed to do against teams in free fall. Sengun posted a 26-point, 13-rebound, 11-assist triple-double as the Rockets routed the Kings 128-97.

It was businesslike and overwhelming. Rookie Reed Sheppard added a career-high 28 points, drilling seven threes, as Houston took full advantage of a Sacramento roster that continues to unravel late in the season.

• The Spurs just keep stacking wins. San Antonio edged Toronto 110-107 to secure its 10th straight victory, the franchise’s longest streak since the 2015-16 season. Devin Vassell led the way with 21 points, and six Spurs reached double figures. It wasn’t flashy. It was balanced, poised, and increasingly familiar.

• Toronto didn’t get the result, but it wasn’t for lack of fight. Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic said his team gave the Spurs “a hell of a fight” on the second night of a back-to-back and noted they defended Victor Wembanyama as well as possible. Rajakovic also revealed that Scottie Barnes played through pain stemming from a quad contusion, which influenced rotation decisions late. Toronto competed. The margin just wasn’t there.
