Kings
The Kings are not slowing down after the trade for De’Andre Hunter.
James Ham of The Kings Beat reports Sacramento remains active in trade conversations and now have added flexibility after sending out three players and taking back one.
Two standard roster spots are open, and one is expected to eventually go to Dylan Cardwell, though not until after Thursday’s trade deadline.
That flexibility matters. Ham notes it could come into play if Sacramento takes back multiple players in a larger construction, with the Raptors’ RJ Barrett mentioned as a theoretical example in a Domantas Sabonis framework.
Nothing is imminent on that front.
Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints adds that the Kings had chances to move Keon Ellis for multiple second-round picks but instead prioritized shedding Dennis Schroder’s contract and valued Hunter’s size and defensive profile as a better long-term fit.
Siegel reports Sacramento is viewed by rival teams as one of the league’s biggest sellers.
Trade calls have involved Sabonis, DeMar DeRozan, and Malik Monk, with Monk believed to be the most movable of the group.
There has been some interest in Sabonis, particularly from Toronto, but limited traction on DeRozan or Monk so far.
Bulls
Chicago continues to listen without forcing anything.
Per Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune, the Bulls have received interest in Tre Jones and Jalen Smith. Jones appears available, while Smith would require a strong offer to move.
Both players are under contract next season, and Jones also carries a team option for 2027-28.
Any Bull on an expiring deal could be moved for the right price, but multiple sources told Poe the front office is not looking to deal core contributors simply to make a trade. That includes Coby White.
Head coach Billy Donovan said the organization remains focused on adding younger talent, whether now or in July.
Trail Blazers
Portland is gauging the market for Robert Williams.
Siegel reports the Blazers have been shopping the veteran center, who is on an expiring $13.3 million contract.
Sean Highkin of The Rose Garden Report notes Williams is valued internally and well-liked in the locker room, serving as a tone-setter when healthy.
That health history remains the complication. While Williams has been productive in a limited role and healthier than in recent seasons, his injury record clouds both his trade value and any long-term decision.
