The Orlando Magic have signed NBA free agent center Orlando Robinson to a two-way contract, the team announced in a press release.
Robinson, 25, went undrafted out of Fresno State in 2022 and spent his first two NBA seasons with the Miami Heat. He opened last season with the Sacramento Kings before making his way to the Toronto Raptors, where he finished the year on a series of short-term contracts. The Raptors waived him in April.
In 44 total appearances between Sacramento and Toronto in 2024-25, Robinson averaged 6.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists, all career highs. He shot 44.4 percent from the field, including 32.7 percent on 3-pointers.
He joins Ethan Thompson as one of Orlando’s current two-way players. The Magic still have one two-way slot available.
Robinson will earn $636,435 this coming season and is eligible to appear in up to 50 games if the Magic carry a full 15-man standard roster.
The Orlando Sentinel’s Jason Beede was the first to report the news.
“By signing Robinson to a two-way, the Magic add quality depth at center, a position that features Wendell Carter Jr., Moritz Wagner and Goga Bitadze,” Beede wrote. “Although Wagner, who tore his left ACL last December, is working to be ready for the start of the season, it’s not known if he’ll be available opening night.”
