Timberwolves

The Timberwolves are giving Bones Hyland another shot. As relayed by Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, Hyland has officially re-signed with Minnesota on a one-year deal that includes a partial guarantee of $425K.

Hyland, who turned 25 over the weekend, wrapped up last season with the Wolves after being waived by Atlanta.

The former Nuggets first-round pick appeared in just four games for Minnesota but has long had fans inside the organization — notably Timberwolves president Tim Connelly, who drafted him back in Denver.

Hyland has shown flashes as a scorer and shooter (10.9 points per game with Denver as a rookie), but defense and role concerns led to him being moved twice in the last two years.

Now, he’ll head to camp with a chance to carve out a role on a Wolves team that still has room under the apron and roster spots available.

Knicks

New York, meanwhile, is bringing in a pair of undrafted rookies for camp.

The team announced it has signed guard Bryson Warren and forward Dink Pate to non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts.

Both are expected to end up in Westchester, with Exhibit 10 language making them eligible for bonuses if they stick in the G League for at least 60 days.

Pate, 19, spent last year with the Mexico City Capitanes and was one of the youngest players in the G League. Warren, 20, spent two seasons with Miami’s Sioux Falls affiliate.

Pelicans

The Pelicans have signed rookie forward Jalon Moore to a training camp deal, per RealGM’s transaction log.

Moore, 24, was projected as a possible second-rounder before suffering an Achilles tear during a pre-draft workout with the Spurs.

He averaged 15.9 points and 5.8 rebounds at Oklahoma last season and was considered one of the better shooting forwards in the Big 12.

Because of the injury, Moore is expected to miss the entire year, but New Orleans may look to sign-and-waive him to hold his G League rights for 2026-27.
