Raptors
After buying low on Brandon Ingram at last season’s deadline, the Raptors may be sniffing around for a similar swing this February.
According to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, Kings center Domantas Sabonis is one name that continues to surface in connection with Toronto. The Raptors’ interest in Sabonis was first reported in December by Jake Fischer and has since been echoed elsewhere.
Siegel also notes that Malik Monk has intrigued Toronto in the past. There’s a familiar front-office thread here. Kings general manager Scott Perry drafted current Raptors veterans RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley during his time in New York.
There’s no indication that a deal involving those pieces has gained traction, but Siegel suggests it’s a framework worth monitoring.
If Toronto were to move Barrett in a larger deal, he’d likely draw interest well beyond Sacramento. Siegel notes that wing help remains scarce on the market, and the Bucks were among the teams that expressed interest in Barrett last season.
Warriors
The Warriors have internally discussed a number of potential center targets, Siegel reports.
Those names include Myles Turner and Bucks big man Bobby Portis. Portis, in particular, has drawn curiosity around the league, with multiple teams checking on Milwaukee’s plans.
Bucks/Suns
Milwaukee has also inquired about Jalen Green, per Siegel, but the Suns aren’t interested in moving him.
Green has appeared in just two games this season due to hamstring issues, and Phoenix views him as a sort of in-house deadline addition rather than a trade chip.
As always at this time of year, the calls are happening. The traction is another story.

Cavs should pair Mobley with another big who can work a great interior passing chemistry with him. Somebody who finds and creates those perfect bounce passes with space for easy high percentage buckets. Somebody he can multiply effectiveness with.
Sounds like both Portis and Sabots are movable. And they can do that better than our current interior players. Good back to the basket players with nice footwork, would help Mobley a lot.
Isaiah Mobley knows what I’m talking about.
