Free agent point guard Mike James has signed a two-year contract extension with French club AS Monaco, as relayed by Dario Skerletic of Sportando.
The team confirmed the move in a press release.
James, 31, is 6-foot-1 and last played in the NBA in the 2020-21 season, when he appeared in 13 games with the Nets. He was a member of the All-Euroleague first team last season.
Along with the Nets, he has also spent time with the Suns, averaging 8.9 points and 3.7 assists in 49 career games overall.
“The point guard last year led the French team to a historic qualification to the Euroleague playoffs,” Skerletic wrote.
