Warriors
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr offered an encouraging update on Stephen Curry after the veteran guard participated in another scrimmage on Thursday, according to Nick Friedell of The Athletic.
“He looked good … he looks like Steph Curry,” Kerr said.
Kerr stopped short of confirming Curry’s availability for Sunday, noting the decision will ultimately be made by Curry and team medical director Rick Celebrini.
A final determination is expected soon, but Curry appears to be trending in the right direction.
The two-time MVP has been sidelined since late January due to patellofemoral pain syndrome in his right knee.
Pistons
Pistons forward Tobias Harris exited Thursday’s game against Minnesota with a left knee contusion and did not return, the team announced.
Harris has started all 59 games he’s played this season. The veteran forward is on track to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
76ers
Sixers center Joel Embiid has been listed as doubtful for Friday’s game against Minnesota due to an illness, per Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.
Embiid missed Wednesday’s win over Washington with the same issue, and the doubtful tag suggests he may be sidelined for a second straight contest.
