A season that started OK has again been beset by injuries for poor Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons.
Once again, the Nets offered an update on Simmons, Once again, he isn’t ready to play. Per the Nets, Simmons will remain out for another two weeks with a pinched nerve in his lower back.
Simmons is said to be improving, and the Nets hope he’s ready to go shortly after the New Year. Right now he is only doing individual court work. He appeared in just six games this season before injuring his back.
The No. 1 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Simmons received an epidural injection as part of the planned rehabilitation from this injury, the Nets said.
Some around the NBA wonder if he’ll ever be a regular contributor again and can stay on the floor. At this point, it’s a fair question.
