The Nets have re-signed guard Marcus Zegarowski to a training camp contract, the team announced in a press release.
Last week, the Nets signed and waived him on the same day — all of which means he is likely headed to their G League affiliate in Long Island.
Zegarowski, 24, is 6-foot-2 and was selected by the Nets with the No. 49 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. He played his college ball at Creighton.
Last season, he appeared in 21 games with Long Island, starting 16 and averaging 11.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists.
Zegarowski is the younger half-brother of former NBA Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams.
