The Bucks continue to canvass the market as they look for ways to upgrade around Giannis Antetokounmpo.
League sources tell Sam Amick of The Athletic that Michael Porter Jr. has been added to Milwaukee’s growing list of potential targets. Porter joins a group that already includes Zach LaVine, Malik Monk, and Jerami Grant.
Asset limitations remain the obvious obstacle.
“It remains to be seen if (GM Jon Horst) can pull off anything of significance, as Milwaukee is (by its own doing) limited when it comes to assets and options,” Amick wrote.
LaVine is described as a confirmed target, while Monk and Grant have been linked via ESPN reporting. League sources say Porter is now firmly in the “worth watching” category.
In other words, the Bucks’ internal list is likely much longer than what’s public — but these are the names starting to surface as the deadline approaches.
