The Nets have signed and waived guard Marcus Zegarowski, as relayed by RealGM.
The move was presumably made to re-acquire his G League rights, sending him back to the Long Island Nets.
Zegarowski, 24, is 6-foot-2 and was selected by the Nets with the No. 49 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. He played his college ball at Creighton.
Last season, he appeared in 21 games with Long Island, starting 16 and averaging 11.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists.
Zegarowski is the younger half-brother of former NBA Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams.
