The Nets have waived guard Chris Chiozza and forward RaiQuan Gray, the team announced in a press release.
Chiozza, 26, is 5-foot-11 and appeared in 34 games with the Warriors last season, averaging 2.0 points and 1.9 assists. He has bounced around the NBA since first entering the league in 2018, after going undrafted out of Florida.
Along with the Warriors, he served a previous stint with the Nets, as well as made stops with the Rockets and Wizards. Most likely, he is next headed to the Long Island Nets of the G League. He appeared in two preseason games with Brooklyn this year.
Gray, 23, is 6-8 and was selected by the Nets out of Florida State in the second round (No. 59 overall) of the 2021 NBA Draft. He spent last season with Long Island, averaging 6.3 points and 6.3 rebounds.
He has also spent time with the Nets in summer league play, compiling averages of 7.0 points and 7.6 boards in five games.
The Nets’ roster currently stands at 15, with both two-way slots filled.
