The Denver Nuggets are sending forward Michael Porter Jr. and an unprotected 2032 first-round pick to the Brooklyn Nets for Cam Johnson, per Shams Charania of ESPN.
Porter came under fire during the Nuggets’ most recent playoff stretch, where critics say he performed inconsistently. In Porter’s defense, he was limited by a nagging shoulder injury.
Meanwhile, Johnson has been involved in trade rumors dating back to the start of last season, and the rebuilding Nets have finally pulled the trigger on a deal.
