Pacers guard/forward Justin Holiday has entered health and safety protocols and will miss at least the next 10 days, as relayed by Scott Agness of Fieldhouse Files.
Indiana has four games in that time span, as Agness noted.
Holiday, 32, is averaging 9.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists, shooting about 40 percent from the field and 36 percent on 3-pointers. He is in the second year of a three-year, $18 million contract.
“A player in the league’s health and safety protocols for 10 days or more has typically tested positive for the coronavirus, though no official confirmation of Holiday’s health status has been confirmed,” wrote Alex Kirschenbaum of Hoops Rumors.
“Holiday has been in and out of the starting lineup this season, most recently replacing rookie Chris Duarte as the club’s starting small forward.”
