The Pacers have an interest in trading shooting guard Jeremy Lamb ahead of next season after taking Chris Daurte in last week’s NBA Draft, per J. Michael of the Indianapolis Star.
Lamb, 29, was limited to 36 games last season because of injuries. He is on an expiring contract worth $10.6 million, a deal that is certainly tantalizing to opposing teams.
He averaged 10.1 points ad 3.6 rebounds last season.
Indiana selected Duarte with the No. 13 overall pick out of Oregon.
“Duarte can slide in alongside Justin Holiday and/or Oshae Brissett on Indiana’s second unit, which should create a much more stout defensive group especially if paired with Goga Bitadze and Edmond Sumner,” wrote Andy Patton of Yahoo Sports.
