The Pacers have signed point guard Ahmad Caver to a 10-day contract via the hardship exception, the team announced in a press release.
Caver, 25, is 6-foot-2 and has spent the last three seasons with the G League’s Memphis Hustle, the Grizzlies’ affiliate. In 14 games with the Hustle this year, he has compiled averages of 15.4 points, 6.9 assists and 5.4 rebounds.
The Pacers currently have five players in health and safety protocol, including Kelan Martin, who entered on Friday, per Scott Agness of Field Files.
Caver is set to become their second hardship signing, joining guard Nate Hinton (full story).
