The Pacers have signed guard/forward Justin Anderson to a 10-day contract, the team announced in a press release.
Anderson, 28, is 6-foot-6 and already signed one 10-day deal with the Pacers earlier this season, in January. He appeared in three games and averaged 2.7 points. He also played three games with the Cavaliers after signing a 10-day hardship deal.
Anderson has mostly spent the season with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the Pacers’ G League affiliate. In 22 games with Fort Wayne, he is putting up eye-popping numbers — 27.8 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.4 assists.
He has also spent time with Nets, Hawks, 76ers and Mavericks, who made him a first-round pick in 2015. He attended training camp with the Pacers this past fall, so he knows the franchise well.
The Pacers have an open roster spot, so don’t need to make another move.
