The Indiana Pacers are signing veteran forward James Johnson to a second 10-day contract, agent Mark Bartelstein told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Johnson, 36, has appeared in five games with the Pacers this season and 33 overall during the past two years.
He has yet to appear since signing his first 10-day deal on Jan. 19, though Indiana values his presence in the locker room and on the sideline.
Johnson, the only Wyoming native in the NBA, has also spent time with the Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans and Brooklyn Nets.
He carries NBA career averages of 7.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 47 percent shooting.
