The Pacers are bringing in Villanova forward Cam Whitmore for a workout ahead of the 2023 NBA Draft, per Scott Agness of Fieldhouse Files.

Whitmore is 6-foot-7 and averaged 12.5 points and 5.3 rebounds as a freshman with the Wildcats last season. NBA scouts have compared him to Caron Butler and Jae Crowder.
“Thursday’s workout is notably just one player and not six,” Agness wrote. “That’s usually done for one of two reasons: an agent request or a date becomes free on the player’s schedule.”
The Pacers have five draft picks this summer — Nos. 7, 26, 29, 32 and 55. So head of basketball operations Kevin Pritchard and his crew have a busy offseason ahead.
