The Pistons are acquiring point guard Monte Morris for a second-round pick, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Morris was caught in a logjam of guards in Washington after the team traded for Jordan Poole and Tyus Jones.
The Wizards are creating a $9.8 million trade exception as part of the deal. Earlier in the day, it had been reported that small forward Kyle Kuzma is returning to the Wizards on a four-year deal. (Full story)
Meanwhile, the Pistons are adding veteran depth to their own backcourt in Morris, who will back up starter Cade Cunningham.
