Former G League Ignite forward/center Princepal Singh has agreed to a three-year contract with the New Zealand Breakers of the Australian Basketball League, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
Singh, 20, is 6-foot-9 and became the first and only NBA Academy India graduate to sign a pro contract when he inked a one-year deal with the Ignite in July 2020.
He played only sparingly while teaming up with future lottery picks Jalen Green (Rockets) and Jonathan Kuminga (Warriors) for the Ignite, appearing in four games and averaging 2.3 points.
Singh was selected by the Stockton Kings in the fifth round of the 2021 G League Draft, after playing for Sacramento in the NBA summer league.
