Purdue sophomore guard Jaden Ivey has declared for the 2022 NBA Draft, he relayed on social media. Ivey is a projected top-five pick, with the latest ESPN mock draft predicting he is selected fourth overall.
“This has been a lifelong dream of mine and I am beyond excited for this journey,” Ivey posted on social media.

Ivey is 6-foot-4 and averaged 17.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists on his way to AP second-team All-American honors.
“He joined Duke’s Paolo Banchero as the only players this season with 600 points, 175 rebounds, 100 assists, 30 steals and 20 blocked shots,” ESPN relayed. “Ivey is the fourth Big Ten player in 30 years to achieve those marks.”
Ivey was at his best against the best — as he compiled averages of 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists in games against ranked opponents. There were nine such games on the season.
