Free agent point guard Quinn Cook has agreed to a contract with Russian club Lokomotiv Kuban, the team announced in a press release, as relayed by Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.
Cook, 28, is 6-foot-1 was recently waived by the Trail Blazers after joining the team on a training camp deal.
He has also spent time with the Pelicans, Mavericks, Lakers and Cavaliers. Last season, he appeared in 23 total games between LA and Cleveland, averaging 3.3 points.
Portland opted to keep Dennis Smith Jr. over Cook, and since the Blazers don’t have a G League affiliate, couldn’t assign Cook to a spot in the minors.
This will be Cook’s first run playing professionally overseas.
