Free agent point guard Quinn Cook has signed a contract with the G League, per the G League transactions log, via Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors.
Cook, 28, is 6-foot-1 and has extensive NBA experience, as well as G League experience. He has spent time with the Cavaliers, Warriors, Mavericks, Pelicans and Lakers. His most recent experience came in 2020-21, when he played seven games with Cleveland.
Overall, he has appeared in 188 NBA games overall. He also spent time with Russian club Lokomotiv Kuban early this season, but mutually parted ways in December.
As it stands, no NBA team holds Cook’s returning player rights, so he is free to sign any sort of deal with any team that’s interested, should it come to that.
