The Lakers and Raptors have discussed a trade centered on guard/forward Talen Horton-Tucker, though there is no sense yet that such a deal will get done, as relayed by Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report.
Along with talking to LA about Horton-Tucker, the Raptors have been in talks that include “multiple scenarios” involving point guard Goran Dragic, Fischer relayed. Dragic has not played in weeks after proving to be a poor fit in Toronto.
Overall, it appears the Raptors were “quite active” on the eve of the deadline, per Fischer.
The same could likely be said of the Lakers, who have reportedly been shopping Horton-Tucker as a means to bring in help in any area. In other words, it is believed the Lakers aren’t targeting a specific position in their trade conversations.
Toronto appeared quite active in trade conversations Wednesday night. Various Goran Dragic scenarios. Bigs. Lakers and Raptors have discussed Talen Horton-Tucker, sources said, but any notion that deal is serious has been miscategorized by @TheSteinLine and my listeners.

Along with Horton-Tucker, the Lakers are said to have made injured guard Kendrick Nunn available, as well as any number of their older veterans. Most insiders, however, seem to believe LA will struggle to pull off a deal, given the advanced age of many of their players and what they are seeking in return.
The NBA trade deadline is Thursday at 3 p.m. EST.
