The Raptors were among the most active teams at the trade deadline in February and are doing the same now on NBA Draft Day.
Per Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, Raptors president Masai Ujiri and the front office are exploring trades both up and down in the draft, as well as continuing to listen to exploratory calls on forwards Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby.
The Hawks have made at least one trade offer for Siakam, including a deal that would involve a third team, per Fischer. But it appears that Toronto’s asking price for both Siakam and Anunoby is sky high. That was the case at the trade deadline, and that is likely why Siakam and Anunoby weren’t moved back then.
As of right now, the Raptors own pick No. 13 — and that’s it. Perhaps, though, that could change. Per Fischer, they have spoken to at least the Magic about No. 11, the Warriors about No. 19 and the Nets, who own both the Nos. 21 and 22 selections.
