The Raptors interviewed Sergio Scariolo for their head-coaching vacancy on Thursday, per Alessandro Maggi of Sportando.
Scariolo, 62, served as a Raptors assistant from 2018-21, before departing to become head coach of Italian club Virtus Bologana, a position he still holds today.
Along with Italy, as served as a head coach in Russia and Spain, including time as coach of the Spanish national team.
Bucks assistant Charles Lee and Raptors assistant Adrian Griffin are also said to be among the candidates. Along with those names, the Raptors have interviewed former NBA shooting guard JJ Redick, as we relayed here.
The Raptors fired ex-coach Nick Nurse after the season, and could very well part ways with some familiar faces on the roster. (Full post.)
