The Raptors have signed free agent forward Ishmail Wainright, agents Deirunas Visockas and Jim Tanner told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Wainright, 26, is 6-foot-6 and played for Baylor from 2013-17. He has spent three seasons overseas, most recently with French club Strasbourg. He spent two years in Germay before that.
Wainright will join a Raptors frontcourt that already includes Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, Stanley Johnson, newcomer Sam Dekker and rookie guard/forward Scottie Barnes.

Wojnarowski did not report terms of the deal, but it presumably is nonguaranteed or only partially guaranteed.
“A report in June stated that Wainright was eyeing a move to the NBA for 2021/22 and identified Toronto as the frontrunner to land him,” wrote Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors.
