The Raptors have reached agreement on a two-year contract with guard/forward Svi Mykhailiuk, his agency told Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The deal includes a player option in the second season, Charania added.
Mykhailiuk, 24, is 6-foot-7 and finished last season with the Thunder after nearly three years with the Pistons. He averaged 10.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 30 games with OKC. He has also spent time with the Lakers.
“Several contenders expressed interest in the sharpshooting wing before he reached agreement with the Raptors,” Charania reported.
In Toronto, Mykhailiuk will join the likes of Gary Trent Jr., OG Anunoby and rookie Scottie Barnes as presumed threats on the wing.
“Once the signing becomes official, Toronto will be up to 19 players, one short of the roster limit heading into camp,” wrote Arthur Hill of Hoops Rumors. “The Raptors now have 12 players with guaranteed contracts and both two-way slots filled.”
