The Raptors intend to sign small forward Alex Antetokounmpo to an Exhibit 10 deal, according to Blake Murphy of Sportnet.ca.
Antetokounmpo, 20, is 6-foot-8 and went undrafted in 2021. He is the younger brother of Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and spent summer league playing for the Kings.
Alex Antetokoumpo is expected to be waived, in order to become a member of Raptors 905, Toronto’s affiliate in the G League.
“This is the ‘sign & waive’ I’ve mentioned a few times,” Murphy wrote. “No real Raps impact, just gets these guys to the 905 program + a bonus on G League salary.”
The Raptors are also expected to sign and waive Josh Hall, per multiple reports. Earlier in the day, Toronto waived power forward Reggie Perry and center Freddie Gillespie.
