The Raptors have waived guard/forward Justise Winslow, point guard Jeff Dowtin and forward Mouhamadou Gueye, the team announced in a press release.
Winslow and Gueye were on Exhibit 10 training camp deals and are headed to Raptors 905 of the G League. Each will be eligible for a bonus of up to $75,000 if they spend at least 60 days with the franchise.
Meanwhile, Dowtin was on a non-guaranteed standard deal. It would’ve become partially guaranteed if he had stayed on the roster beyond Saturday (Oct. 21). He appeared in 25 games with the Raptors last season after signing a two-way deal. So his future is up in the air — perhaps on a two-way deal with another team or just a straight G League contract.
Toronto had signed Winslow earlier in the day, waiving forward Makur Maker in the process. Maker is also headed to Raptors 905, per Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.
Winslow, 27, is 6-foot-6 and was the No. 10 overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft. He appeared in 29 games with the Trail Blazers last season, averaging 6.8 points and 5.0 rebounds.
He has also spent time with the Clippers, Grizzlies and Heat — though has not appeared in more than 65 games since the 2017-18 season.
Expectation is Justice Winslow & Mouhamadou Gueye will be waived after the game vs. Wizards, each of them are on Exhibit 10 deals and will join Raptors 905. This will likely also be the last Raptors appearance for Jeff Dowtin Jr., whose G-League rights are held by Philadelphia.
