The Rockets are signing center Bruno Fernando to a four-year, $10.9 million contract, agents Andy Shiffman and Mark Bartelstein told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Fernando, 24, is 6-foot-9 and appeared in 10 games with the Rockets last season after a multiplayer trade with the Celtics in February.
He had been on a two-way deal prior to the latest agreement.
Overall, he has appeared in 119 games with the Rockets, Celtics and Hawks since being the No. 34 pick out of Maryland in 2019.
The Rockets were an NBA-worst 20-62 last season. Following the move with Fernando, they will have an available two-way spot.
