This news follows the Lions’ signing of free agent center Kosta Koufos earlier this summer.
Dekker, 28, is 6-foot-9 and spent the early part of last season with Raptors, but recorded just one minute of playing time before being waived in early November.
He spent the previous two years overseas, most recently with Türk Telekom. Before that, he played for Lokomotiv Kuban of Russia.
Prior to his stop with the Raptors, Dekker last spent time in the NBA with the Wizards in 2018-19, averaging 6.1 points and 3.0 rebounds in 38 games. He has also spent time with the Cavaliers, Clippers and Rockets, as well as the G League with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
Overall, he has appeared in 201 NBA games, compiling career averages of 5.4 points and 3.0 rebounds.
Koufos, 33, is 7-0 and spent part of last season with the G League Ignite. He played in Greece and Russia before that, with his last NBA appearance coming with the Kings (2015-19).
He has also played for the Grizzlies, Nuggets, Timberwolves and Jazz, and carries NBA career averages of 5.7 points and 5.0 rebounds.
