Free agent guard/forward Sindarius Thornwell has agreed to a contract with German club Ratiopharm Ulm, as relayed by Orazio Francesco Cauchi of BasketNews.
Thornwell, 26, is 6-foot-4 and appeared in a total of 23 games with the Pelicans and Magic last season, averaging a combined 2.0 points and 1.0 assists.
He was originally drafted by the Bucks in the second round (No. 48 overall) of the 2017 NBA Draft, then immediately traded to the Clippers.
Thornwell spent his first two seasons in LA, including some time with the Agua Caliente Clippers of the G League. He drew some interest in free agency from the NBA, but ended up not receiving a training camp invite.
Heading overseas will allow Thornwell to get paid and play, and perhaps provide a path back to the NBA.
