The 76ers have waived shooting guard Isaiah Joe, per the RealGM transactions log.
Joe, 23, is 6-foot-4 and appeared in 55 games with Philadelphia, after playing 41 as a rookie. He was originally drafted No. 49 overall out of Arkansas in 2020.
Last season, Joe compiled averages of 3.6 points and 1.0 rebounds, shooting 33 percent on 3-pointers. He had a fully non-guaranteed contract for 2022-23.
The Sixers are now $5 million below the hard cap and $1 million over the luxury tax line, per RealGM. Along with that, it opens a roster spot with the regular season right around the bend.
