The 76ers have waived combo guard Mac McClung, per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
This marks the second time this month that McClung has been let go, as the same happened with the Warriors back on Oct. 3.
McClung, 23, is 6-2 and scored nine points in the Warriors’ preseason opener vs. the Wizards in Japan. He wowed the crowd with a few dunks in the layup line before that.
He spent last season with the South Bay Lakers of the G League and has appeared in a total of two NBA games. This move likely means that McClung is headed for the Delaware Blue Coats of the G League.
He was not in Cleveland with the rest of the 76ers for a preseason game on Monday night.
