The Spurs are trading guard/forward Josh Richardson to the Pelicans in exchange for point guard Devonte’ Graham and four second-round picks, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Richardson, 29, has had an underrated season in reserve, coming off the bench and averaging 11.5 points in 42 games. He is shooting 44 percent from the field and 36 percent on 3-pointers.
With the Pelicans, he can play a similar role alongside the likes of Zion Williamson (when healthy), CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram, with Richardson offering another veteran to help assist a playoff run.
Graham, 27, is averaging 5.3 points and 2.2 assists in 53 games.
