The Spurs have signed center Gorgui Dieng to a second 10-day contract, the team announced in a press release.
His first 10-day deal expired Tuesday night, though there was talk they intended to bring him back.
Dieng, 33, is 6-foot-10 and signed a non-guaranteed deal with the Spurs before the season. He was then waived on Jan. 5, when the Spurs traded for Celtics center Noah Vonleh (since waived). Dieng then signed a 10-day deal with the Spurs a few days later.
In 14 appearances this season, he is averaging 3.8 points and 3.0 rebounds. He has also spent time with the Hawks, Grizzlies and Timberwolves after being selected with the No. 21 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.
