Suns guard Bradley Beal is nearing a return and could play as soon as Tuesday’s home game vs. the Warriors, per Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic.
Beal missed the early part of the season with a back issue, came back briefly, then was again sidelined by the ailment in mid-November. He has appeared in just three games in his first season in Phoenix.
In fact, Beal and fellow stars Kevin Durant and Devin Booker have yet to appear in the same game. But it seems that day may be near.
“Excited, can’t wait for the world to see,” Booker said of the possibility, via Rankin.
That said, Durant missed Friday’s game with a sprained ankle and reportedly wasn’t a full participant at Sunday’s practice. Booker missed the three games in which Beal did play.
Beal averaged 23.2 points in each of the last two seasons with the Wizards.
“That’s the nightmare all coaches have trying to guard Brad,” Booker said, via Rankin. “Not only coaches, but opposing players. I’ve been on the other side of it. He can stop on a dime and get to his pull-up so fast.”
The Suns (12-10) are on a two-game losing streak, but have won six of 10 overall.
