The Suns are acquiring three second-round picks from the Magic for a first-round pick swap in 2026, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
This move comes on the same day as the news that the Suns are trading point guard Cameron Payne to the Spurs for a future second-rounder, as we relayed here.
It’s been a busy and productive offseason for Suns GM James Jones. Along with the Payne and picks trades, the Suns landed star shooting guard Bradley Beal in a blockbuster deal with the Wizards, and per Wonajrowski, are signing former Magic center/forward Bol Bol to a one-year contract.
Meanwhile, the Magic now has a whopping eight first-rounders and 12 second-rounders in the next seven drafts combined, Wojnarowski noted.
Here’s what Phoenix now owes in the first round:
2024: Least favorable of own, Washington (if 13-30) or Memphis
2025: To Brooklyn
2026: Least favorable of own, Washington (if not conveyed to New York) or Orlando
2027: To Brooklyn
